NTHEA/HESC Succesfully Implements E-Signature
for Plus Loans

Servicing Corporation (HESC) program administrator for North Texas
Higher Education Authority, Inc. (NTHEA) is proud to announce that
it has successfully implemented electronic signature for Parent
Loans for Undergraduate Student (PLUS).
A parent is now able to go online to www.nthea.com
and apply for a PLUS loan, be instantly approved (or denied), and
electronically sign a promissory note using a Department of Education
assigned FAFSA pin. NTHEA/HESC is excited about this new feature,
because it allows the company to better and more efficiently serve
its borrower, school and lender clients.
NTHEA is a private non-profit organization
chartered in 1978 by the municipalities of Arlington and Denton,
Texas. NTHEA serves as a secondary market for Texas lending institutions
and contracts with its own internal servicer, Higher Education Servicing
Corporation (HESC), to administer its program. The mission of NTHEA
is to assure consistent and long term borrower access to the Federal
Family Education Loan Program by providing capital and liquidity
for its lenders.
NTHEA provides a friendly, dedicated customer
service staff through the work of HESC to meet the educational needs
of students throughout Texas. From the date a family first completes
a FAFSA until their loans are paid-in-full, NTHEA is available to
