The government has extended the period for accepting Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) applications through August 8th. FCCU is no longer accepting new Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) applications. We recommend that businesses still seeking Covid-19 financial assistance go to www.sba.gov or one of your other banking partners for assistance.
It is nice to have a local financial institution who is willing and wanting to work with their business partners. About a year ago we had someone “wash” one of our checks, and FCCU was great in assisting with closing of the old account and setting up a new account. Kim L. and Gwen C. came to the office to get all the paperwork signed, and delivered new cards too. About this time, the Positive Pay System was in the works and Gwen asked if I would be one of the beta testers. I thoroughly enjoyed being part of this program and helping to develop part of the training manual from the business partner side. When the PPP program came about with SBA, working with Mike M. was very nice as he was great at keeping us in the loop as to when and what documents would be needed for the loan. The night I received notification of approval, it was a blessing to know that our woman-owned minority small business would be financial able to continue our business which is moving the military servicemen and women, as well as others that have a need for a household mover. We have been financially stable during this pandemic crisis and have been able to keep all of our employees without layoffs or furloughs. I would highly recommend FCCU for any business looking for a financial partner.
